The Yamaha EPH-22 and the Yamaha EPH-W22 are one-ear designed to accompany mobile devices. They can be placed in two ways: by placing the cable above the ear to become fixed rather safe or form as usual falling below the cable. The first method can be useful when used in outdoor activities. This is possible thanks to a flexible material made of elastomers. Brand designers have also devised a shell made of two types of silicone, other soft and hard. The duct that carries the sound into the ear and has a serrated section is the one made of hard silicone. That allows it to retain the form when inserted in the ear canal while facilitating their accommodation. This design also makes the sound cannot escape.
Both headphones are available in black or white glossy finish, with trident-shaped logo on the outer side of each of the shells. Both are dynamic and closed type, and include a transducer with a diameter of 8.5 millimeters. They are a new design that features a powerful neodymium magnet. This setting allows you to play a sound with good bass at any volume level. The housing has the same structure and uses the same materials as other high-end models like this EPH. So these two handsets are able to offer a frequency response ranging from 20 to 40,000 hertz. The sound pressure level is 98 dB with a maximum power of 30 milliwatts sound (mW) and an impedance of 16 ohms, for both models.
