LG is preparing to launch a phablet LS770 with stylus in the US

LG is preparing to launch a phablet with stylus in the US

A new LG phablet has just been certified in the United States. It is intended to complete the catalog with the operator Sprint, particularity, a large screen of 5.8 “and a stylus.

LG has always been quite shy in the segment of phablettes. His biggest model is the G Flex, whose screen is 6 inches but the choice was probably related to a technical constraint, like that of a HD resolution only. The launch of the G Flex2, with a 5.5 inch screen, seems to confirm this. Then comes the Optimus G Pro 2, with a screen of 5.9 inches but a very confidential launch.

A new Phablet for the United States

Outside Asia, there is finally the United States that the manufacturer may still voluntarily out of smartphones with very large screen. Risk measured nonetheless, since it combines for it with local operators. And it should continue to do so this year. After G Vista with 5.7 inch screen with Verizon, another model seems to be in the works but to another operator.

Sprint destination, with a stylus for luggage

He was spotted in the database FCC American certification body, by our colleagues at PhoneArena. The model number, LS770, the closer this time while Sprint measures are those of a Phablet: 147 mm (about 5.8 inches) for the screen and 154.1 x 79.3 mm for the frame. We also learn that the smartphone is compatible 4G (lanes 2, 4, 5, 12, 25, 26 and 41) and is powered by a battery of 3000 mAh.

The FCC also books another detail rather intriguing this time. The phablet would be delivered with a stylus. The question is whether this is the famous G Pen or a more common stylus like the G3 Stylus, which probably could help determine its position in the absence of further information. Then certainly we will need to wait for the official announcement to find out what is behind LS770 model number. With a little luck, it is not very far since certification was obtained.
