Swiss manufacturer of computer peripherals Logitech International announced a new wireless mouse MX Master. It is aimed at those users who have to work simultaneously with multiple devices and operating systems. The newcomer Logitech MX Master has a design that fits the shape of your hand naturally, and has a customizable thumb wheel, plus two selectable speeds for the main wheel and laser tracking technology. The new mouse Swiss multinational is also compatible with Mac and PC computers, and can be used with three devices simultaneously.
The new Logitech MX Master draws attention first of all by his appearance that combines modern lines and aimed for professional use with an elegant look thanks to its combination of black and bronze colors. The MX Master has dimensions of 126 mm long by 85.7 wide and 48.4 high, and weighs 145 grams including the battery. The connection to the computer is via USB Unifying receiver usual or by Bluetooth Smart protocol, although the latter option is only possible if we have a PC with Windows 8 or Mac with OSX 10 Yosemite. In any case, the Logitech USB receiver ensures an optimum connection and even a good reach if we use a certain distance, as we have already checked in other models of the firm. The mouse is finished in an elegant combination of black and bronze colors, and has a total of five buttons and two control wheels, all customized by Logitech Options software. At the base of MX Master will find the switch devices or channels, which allows us to use the mouse with three devices simultaneously simply by changing channel. Here is also the connection selector to choose whether to use the Bluetooth computer USB port or serial receiver and of course, the lens system tracking Darkfield laser sensor.
The buttons and wheels of Logitech MX Master allow a wide variety of gestures and actions such as horizontal scrolling, a very practical option and that is missing in many of the currently available mouse. We can also change the speed of the vertical or main wheel by pressing the button located just below the wheel. Another interesting Gesture Control button is a button located on the front of the mouse and having different functions, according to the movement to do with the mouse while you press it. For example, in Windows you can access the desktop view Gesture Control clicking and moving the mouse back, or maximize the active window if we move forward. Similarly, in OSX you can access Exposé Mission Control or the functions that show all active windows and applications. Anyway, we can customize these movements or assigning any button for any operating system through the Logitech Options application. Finally, the Logitech MX Master features a rechargeable battery via USB which offers a range of up to 40 hours of use.
The Logitech MX Master is definitely an interesting place to anyone who wants to move nimbly through the windows and applications on your computer, besides being a recommendable for users working on a multi-option peripheral environment. The new Logitech MX Master is now available at a recommended retail price of 105 euros public.
