New MacBook from Apple - First Look

New MacBook from Apple - First Look

Yesterday we met the new Apple MacBook; this time put aside the name “Air”, being no less slender than their older siblings. Comes in colors identical to the iPhone 6 Plus: gold, silver and space gray, as leaked a few days ago and as we reported. The novelty of this new team is its screen and ultra-thin design. The new MacBook assembled a panel of 12 inches with the already popular Retina technology and a resolution of 2,304 x 1,440 pixels. It has a thickness of only 13,1mm, meaning that is 24% thinner than the MacBook Air, both regarding the 11-inch model and the 13-inch. The company has said, which is the lightest computer manufactured by its 900 grams.

Another feature worth mentioning is its lack of fans, which makes it a very quiet machine. Its Intel Core M processor running at 1.3GHz, and support for USB 3.1 and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity 802.11ac, complete some of its general specifications. The truth is that the focus on highlighting its thinness and some of these new features, Apple was left with no time to give us some also important details. Today I will mention some interesting especially for those you who are thinking of buying the equipment.

Both the iMac, and MacBook Pro or MacBook Air features a FaceTime HD camera integrated, allowing us to make video calls to 720p. Much attention, because the new MacBook 12-inch cabinets include a FaceTime camera with 480p resolution. This means that we cannot make video calls in HD. In fact, it is the same front camera on the iPhone 4. From iPhone 5 and at a 720p FaceTime HD camera is included. On the other hand, the new MacBook still has stereo speakers (like the MacBook Air), but the technology Mashable reporter JP Mangalindan ensures that sound pretty strong. This may be due to the fact that while the speakers are hidden MacBook Air fans near the hinge, the new MacBook speakers are at the top of the keyboard.

The popular MagSafe port (and MagSafe 2) we will not see in the new MacBook. Apple has replaced the USB-C port, which also outputs the video data and transfers. The elimination of this port in the new MacBook begs the question: How long until the other products miss Apple MacBook into thinner designs? The truth is that the inclusion of this new USB-C port is positive and negative. On one hand, it has allowed the new team is incredibly thin. On the other hand, have to buy an adapter if you want to charge it while you have connected an external display, a hard disk and a flash drive or a DVD drive. Finally, one of the things that have been lost and that Apple has not mentioned during your event Spring Forward is the classic lighting apple logo that appears on the cover of their laptops. Sure in the end, after all, is one of the things I will miss.
