BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9983 - new version graphite based

Five months after the launch of the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983, the manufacturer and the German studio recovering the cover and have a new version. More sober, it incorporates graphite instead of metal.

 Each year, BlackBerry joins the German Porsche Design Studio to revisit one of the smartphones of its catalog to satisfy the most demanding customers. And, demanding, understand wealthy rather than technophiles. Technical point of escalation, everything is in the materials and appearance. In 2014, the partnership gave birth to the Porsche Design P’9983. Q10 inside but little gem outside, notably with a glass keyboard and more metal elements. But we must believe that it was not enough as the two acolytes now back with a new version.

 Graphite and leather

 It has been presented as the Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite and logically out thanks to graphite elements. They simply replace metal ones, perhaps a little too obvious for some tastes. It thus includes the frame, the plate located above the screen on which the studio his signature and the plate that frames the camera with the model number on the back. Little surprise, the bonnet was covered in leather in the process.

 The rest has probably not moved. The smartphone comes with BlackBerry OS 10.3 and still qualify for a distinctive PIN to get noticed on BBM. No change appears to have been made on the technical side either. We thus find a screen of 3.1 “for a definition of 720 x 720 pixels, an aging Snapdragon S4 dual-core More 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM, 64GB of internal memory, of 8 and 2 megapixel camera and a battery of 2100 mAh. All for the modest sum of € 1,650.
