Samsung Galaxy J1 arrives in Europe

Samsung Galaxy J1 arrives in Europe

Launched in Asia in January, the Samsung Galaxy J1 is finally starting to spread in Europe where several merchant websites already offer for sale. Unfortunately, this variant of 3G and the note is quite salty.

Samsung has succeeded. The Galaxy S6 and Edge variant were finally unveiled in Barcelona last week and made a sensation. Of course, they do not cater to all budgets with their prices above € 700 but the Korean has many other models in reserve, as very affordable Galaxy J1. Originally launched in Asia, the smartphone is now available on many commercial sites in Europe, including Amazon in Germany and the Netherlands.

 No 4G menu

Unfortunately, the listed alternative is the smallest we knew. 4G is absent and it is far from the only special because connectivity is often related to the chipset. This is the case here. The quad-core chip 4G model is replaced by a more modest dual-core-based Cortex-A7 clocked at 1.2 GHz. RAM is also less generous 512 MB only.

The Galaxy J1 always includes a hand WVGA 4.3 “screen, 4GB of internal memory, 5 and 2 megapixel camera and an 1850 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

Maybe not so affordable it for now

There is still more bad news. This is the price. The Galaxy J1 is displayed about 140 € and it is rather price to pay considering the data sheet. Note, however, that Samsung has still not announced anything about the arrival of its new entry level in Europe. So we can always hope that the price will come down when he does, and even we have the right to 4G variant.
