Microsoft unveils a pair of in-ear headphones designed primarily for athletes, but certainly suit all music lovers. They are resistant to water dust and are light despite an offset remote.


 The economy of mobile telephony, at the manufacturers tends to be based on three axes. The first is obviously the smartphone, which generates visibility, but less and less profit. The second is the accessories that revolve around mobile, which are the best source of profits. And the last applications and value-added service. Besides Apple controls almost all the iPhone line, few manufacturers to rely on the three pillars. Samsung is one of them. Microsoft, too, thanks to the legacy of division Nokia Devices & Services. The Redmond stuff growing its catalog of accessories. The latest is called Hoop by Coloud.

 Hoop by Coloud is a pair of in-ear headphones for use with a Nokia smartphone, but that should be compatible with many smartphones. Developed in partnership with Coloud, a young Scandinavian brand dedicated to audio accessories (proximity between Finland and Sweden has certainly helped a lot in the signing of the partnership), Hoop is especially important to athletes. Headphones are ergonomic. The materials are intended to be very light. And above all, the construction is certified waterproof and dust-proof. No risk therefore runs in the rain and sweats…


 Some details on the data sheet for this accessory. Stereo Connector is obviously a 3.5mm jack port. The theoretical response of the helmet frequency is between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. The cable length is 120 cm. In its center is a key deporting remote controls volume and taking the call. A microphone is obviously inserted therein. Headphone cable, which has a special coating, is flat to avoid the formation of knots. The whole weighs 20.5 grams. Side colors Hoop by Coloud is available in orange, green and black. Colors typical of the catalog of Windows Phone from Microsoft.


 Still no date of availability for this pair of headphones that more should contact the owners of Lumia (given colors) as users of third parties smartphones. The price, however, was unveiled by the Redmond company: 29 euros. That is quite economical. Hoop by Coloud will expand the catalog of accessories for mobile of the American firm that extends to each product launch.
