One of the various trends that different manufacturers are following with regard to TVs and displays in general is that of the curved display. More and more companies decide to launch models of this kind.
Among these companies could not miss a giant like Samsung, which recently announced that it has expanded its line-up with five new monitors curved, which range from 23.5 inches of SE510Csmaller than the 31.5 inches of SE590C with diagonal. In the middle are the 27 inches of SE591C and SE510C and 29 inches of SE790C. The latter is also the only one with a ratio of 21: 9 and a resolution of 2560 × 1080 pixels, the other models use an aspect ratio and a resolution more classics: 1920 x 1080 pixels in 16: 9. The 29-inch display is also the only one with the Picture in Picture 2.0 (PiP) and Picture by Picture (P by P). The first allows you to view the output of a second PC in a small box in the corner of the screen, while the second is used to halve the display and display two different sources.
All displays mounted panels LCD Vertical Alignment (VA), which should give you deeper blacks, higher contrast and wider viewing angles. Seems to promise very well the use of two technologies designed to increase user comfort: the Eye-Saver mode and function Flicker-Free. The first is able to decrease the intensity of the blue light coming from the panel, which during long periods of exposure and use is one of those that cause more eye disorders. The second, which is also designed to try to protect the view of users, should reduce the effect of flickering monitors, in order to allow the user of the display you can watch them more lunge bringing less fatigue and discomfort. Finally, this is also a Game Mode, which should make more powerful the experience of gamers, correcting as possible blurred images and altering the colors and contrast to improve the visibility of the various scenes of the games.
As regards the curvature Samsung does know that the models 29 to 31.5 inches with a radius of 3,000 mm and thus have a more pronounced curvature, while the other three one of 4000 millimeters.
