Kodak IM5: the brand launches its first smartphone in Europe

The first Kodak smartphone has made its arrival on the market today, as it is now on sale in the Netherlands. It has however a modest configuration for its price.

 Known and recognized company in the field of photography, Kodak opened since January a new chapter in its history. With IM5, formalized at CES in Las Vegas, the US firm has indeed become manufacturer of smartphones, thus taking the risk of embarking on an already highly competitive market.

 The Kodak IM5 was supposed to arrive on the shelves in March, but the manufacturer seems to have had a little setback since its release took place today. At first it should be available in Europe. Moreover, to date, only Dutch consumers can buy it at 280 euros.
