Oppo prepare the release of a new mid-range on the international market. Called Mirror 5, it should take over the design of R1C / R1x and at least a part of its data sheet.
The Oppo R1C / R1x you’ve had your eye with its glass design with pattern “diamond”? Too bad it never released in Europe but the manufacturer is expected to launch a similar model soon as the Mirror 5, and it would be good for the international market. According to our colleagues GSMArena, twenty markets should welcome him before mid-July.
The Mirror 5 is expected to include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, as we find in the R1C. Hopefully while also based on the same chipset, namely the Snapdragon 615 from Qualcomm, but this detail has unfortunately not been confirmed. What is certain, however, is that this may not be the case everywhere, as the report indicates that the 4G compatibility depends on regions. But 4G is not optional with the Snapdragon 615.
The technologies PureImage 2.0+ and Beautify 3.0 are also discussed for the photo in addition to the definition of the front sensor. It would reach 5 megapixels. Another commonality with the R1C. For the rest, it will certainly wait until the official presentation, but given the release schedule, it should not be far away.
Note that the Mirror 5 is first expected in Taiwan. No price has yet been mentioned.
