A new high-end smartphone under OS Cyanogen has just been announced in China. Baptized Z1, he comes from a local start-up still little known, but particularly well surrounded.
One lost, ten found. Cyanogen is not quite there yet but numerous partnerships since he split from OnePlus. It may in particular rely on its integrated ROM for Micromax on smartphones in India and it obviously has just found a new partner in China. This is a start-up called Zuk and, if still little known, it certainly does not lack potential.
Zuk counts among its investors two major Chinese companies, one of which we know very well. This is Lenovo, the Chinese company that is among the largest smartphone vendors in five world and has offered including Motorola last year. The other is Qihoo 360, a publisher of security solutions for computer that has injected no less than $ 409 million in start-ups. It should therefore have the necessary resources to launch its smartphones. And, precisely, it comes from a report.
His name and we Z1 is presented by Leiphone as a top model. Its main feature, as you probably already understand, is run on CyanogenMod. However, it should be able to count on other assets. High capacity battery and a fingerprint reader were also discussed during the announcement. It will unfortunately be satisfied with these few details yet but it’s already very promising. The launch is scheduled for the second half in China.
