OnePlus 2 - it's official, will use improved version of Snapdragon 810

OnePlus continues to play with the nerves of his fans about his OnePlus 2. As we discovered last week two images revealing the contours of the next smartphone from the young Chinese company, we learn today that officially OnePlus 2 will be equipped with Snapdragon 810 processor.

The rumor was true, the OnePlus 2 well will include a Snapdragon 810 processor. The manufacturer has indeed sent an email to the various specialized media and published a post on his forum officially announcing that its next smartphone would integrate the controversial Qualcomm processor.

For those who do not know, the Snapdragon 810 is the latest generation of Qualcomm processor that was supposed to equip all smartphones stars like LG G4 or Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge this year.

The problem is that the SOC showed somewhat capricious and led overheating problems in smartphones. This is what drove most brands to rethink their position. Samsung has opted for such an Exynos (house processor) and LG for Snapdragon 808, older but powerful enough. Finally Xiaomi only managed to tame the beast.

Obviously OnePlus also managed to integrate the processor without facing the overheating problems. In his email, the brand says it has worked hand in hand with Qualcomm engineers to offer a version 2.1 of the Snapdragon 810 which allows a perfect optimization between hardware and software.
