Beidou Red Pepper 9 - smartphone with 4700 mAh battery and Android 5.1

The Chinese market is evolving in all fields and almost every day gives us new “goodies” such as telephone Beidu Red Pepper 9, a new smartphone – Chinese of course – with a 4,700 mAh battery well, although it was originally announced with a battery of 5000 mAh, which promises to be highly “spicy”.

 Obviously a smartphone is not distinguished only by the battery in fact; we look at the various technical features of this new “chinephone” Beidou Red Pepper 9.

 The phone has quad-core MediaTek MT6735 from 64 bits, the memory RAM is only 2 GB (few if compared with the RAM of other phones out during 2015), and the internal memory is of 16 GB instead with the possibility to expand via microSD up to 32 GB. As for the photos smartphone it has an external camera 13 megapixels (the standard for all phones from Asia) and an internal camera of 5 megapixels.

 In addition, the Red Pepper 9 will be distributed with on board Android 5.1 Lollipop (we do not know anything about Android M).

 The device is made entirely of plastic frames rather thin, especially the side. The capacitive button is located below the display (as you can see in the picture placed near the beginning of the article).

 The LED flash is on the back below the camera, just like the speaker audio.

 We do not know with certainty the introductory price in Europe but is still known the selling price of China which is around 1,499 yuan, the equivalent of 242 US dollars.

 With the battery from 4,700 mAh able to use your smartphone for the whole day either by the use that can be “bland or stressful” but we must admit that, the value for money is not great, that instead we find on other phones we already know (Moto X, Nexus 5, OnePlus One and so on …). At this point we can do is wait for more information on the sale of the Beidou Red Pepper 9 even outside the Asian continent.
