If, in its Xperia Z4 / Z3 +, Sony passed on the QHD screens that are found in high-end Samsung or LG, Japan’s reviewing its copy with a new version of its device. No luck, the Xperia Z4v will be the exclusivity of a US operator.
If Sony has not yielded to the sirens of QHD slabs internationally smartphones, Nippon Reserve now at a specific country. It is through a partnership with the US operator Verizon that the brand today unveiled a special version of its Xperia Z4v an Xperia Z3+ / Z4 (see its handling) characteristics journals upward.
The Xperia Z4v retains much of the specs of its predecessor, starting with its SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 coupled with 3GB of RAM, or its 32 GB storage and tightness. However, it differs in terms of screen: if its slab always measures 5.2 inches diagonally, it has a definition WQHD or 2560 x 1440 pixels, a resolution of 565 dpi. Its 3000 mAh battery is however slightly bigger than that of the Z3 + herself with a capacity of 2930 mAh. Visually similar to the Xperia Z4, except perhaps moving its front sensors and displacement of the Sony logo on the screen, however the Z4v measure 8.7 mm thick against 6.9 for the classic Z4. The price to pay, apparently, for a screen to display refined.
The price of this smartphone, moreover, has not yet been announced, Verizon merely to announce availability later this summer. It will be provided through subscriptions, which probably will certainly dilute a higher rate than the Z3 + … charged 699 euros.
