Archos 101 Magnus, 94 Magnus and 101 Magnus +, new tablets







The French multinational Archos has just introduced three new tablets at Mobile World Congress being held these days in Barcelona. The new 101 Magnus, 94 Magnus and 101 Magnus + is three tablets with Android OS, 9.4 and 10.1 screen inches and a very interesting price. Archos also present its new Fusion these tablets Storage function, which allows increased internal storage space of your devices by adding capacity MicroSD card. This feature will be also available on all new Archos tablets and phones, as well as some existing models via OTA update.


 The new Archos tablets Magnus range consists of three models, the new 101 Magnus, 94 Magnus and 101 Magnus +, all with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. As their names hint at the three tablets feature a display of 10.1 and 9.4 inches, all with IPS technology, and have a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels for 101 Magnus, 1280 x 800 at 94 Magnus and 1920 x 1200 on the 101 Magnus+. The 101 Magnus icorpora one Mediatek MT8127 Quad core processor at 1.3GHz, graphics card Mali450 MP4, 1 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. Meanwhile, the 94 Magnus and 101 Magnus + are equipped with a Rockchip Quad-core chip RK 3288 RM 1.8 GHz. The 94 Magnus provides 1.5 GB of RAM and no less than 256 GB of internal storage while 101  Magnus + ups the RAM to 2GB and stays in 128 GB hard drive.

 In the photo section, the new 101 Magnus has a VGA front camera back and two megapixels. 94 Magnus equally committed to VGA camera on the front, but ups the resolution front camera to more effective five megapixels. Finally, the101 Magnus + offers a 2-megapixel front camera and 5 Megapixles in the main chamber. The three models are equipped with Bluetooth, Wifi and GPS port and have a Mini HDMI output to connect to a TV and enjoy the content on a large screen tablet.


 One of the most important features that Archos has introduced new in the range of tablets Magnus is the Fusion Storage function. This new feature increases the internal storage of the tablet adding space on the MicroSD card you have inserted in the device. The process is done transparently and you do not have to decide which memory space sends the files, but the total amount of available space will available between the two memories. Fusion Storage has been released on tablets Magnus, but Archos has announced that it will be available in all new models of tablets and phones, and can also be added as an update OTA (Over the Air) in some existing devices in the catalog Archos.


 The new tablets Archos 101 Magnus, 94 Magnus and 101 Magnus + will be available from next April, and the price of retail price will be 180, 300 and 330 euros respectively.
