YU, brand smartphones CyanogenMod from Indian Micromax, has just announced its second smartphone. His name Yuphoria and will assist the Yureka the entry segment range with a sleek design and a well-supplied data sheet. All for less than 100 €.
Cyanogen and OnePlus is definitely over. If the first will continue to update the One of the latter, the chances of finding his ROM aboard the OnePlus Two out of the box are now void. And this does not seem to struggle more than that. I must say it has other partnerships that can rejoice. He has signed with Microsoft to integrate its software solutions for CyanogenMod away from Google. There also YU, the brand that the Indian Micromax has dedicated himself and who has just formalized its second smartphone.
It responds to the name Yuphoria and stands as an input range smartphone to accurately finish. The frame is metal. The rear, soft plastic with a camera of 8 megapixels elegantly integrated inside “rings of Saturn”. Yes, this is how YU calls ring around the camera, and it is rather proud because intends to make his trademark with future models. The chassis is also quite fine considering positioning (8.25 mm) but the design is not the only asset of Yuphoria. Otherwise interesting surprises hiding inside.
The smartphone this particular front, a 5-inch IPS HD screen protected behind glass Gorilla Glass 3. On it appears CyanogenMod OS 12, based on Android Lollipop and brought to life by a Snapdragon 410 supported by 2GB of RAM. Note that Qualcomm’s quad-core chipset also brings 4G compatibility.
For storage, the user can count on a capacity of 16 GB and a microSD port. A 5 megapixel camera is also included, in addition to the NPC 8 megapixels already mentioned, for capturing images while audio playback will go through a Wolfson chipset. The set is powered by a battery 2230 mAh associated with technology Quick Charge 1.0 for fast charging and weighs 143 grams.
And we have not even mentioned the main advantage of this Yuphoria. This is the price will be marketed as from 28 May, exclusively on Amazon India, to 6,999 rupees, or about € 95 as in the Redmi 2 from Xiaomi who just find a very strong competitor in India . That is the explanation behind the small spikes that shot him YU recent weeks … Too bad for us, the Yuphoria should obviously remain an Indian exclusivity.
