LG G PAD X 8.3 - new tablet with 4G and stereo speakers

After months of absence, the famous leaker Evan Nelson Blass, better known under the pseudonym Evleaks, gradually returns to service. Having mentioned yesterday a mysterious LG G PAD X 8.3 in a tweet on multiple devices for Verizon, Evleaks just published a first product photo confirming what we all suspected: it is indeed the next tablet LG.

Unfortunately Evleaks published this first photo of the LG G PAD X 8.3 without disclosing tablet’s technical specifications. However, 4G statement appearing on the back of the model for the US operator Verizon confirms that there will be an LTE version probably offered alongside a version of WiFi.

If the front of the device is reminiscent of Nexus 5, the back is quite similar to that of the first generation of the tablet and skillfully plastic and brushed aluminum handles. There are also two stereo speakers unfortunately still located on the back. Its positioning is not the most practical since it does not allow benefiting from its optimal when the tablet is placed face against the table.

The tablet is running, naturally, Android Lollipop via the latest version of the home interface of the Korean LG UX 4.0, we already found on the LG G4. Launched in late 2013, the first generation of the LG G Pad 8.3 had us convinced. The question is whether it will be the same with the second.

Although it is not impossible that this is a coincidence, we find that the weather widget and calendar application appears the date of May 28. A date that could eventually match that of the official announcement of the product. In any case, we should soon know.
