The wait is finally over: Oculus VR, the company that designed the well-known viewer augmented reality Oculus Rift, has finally announced the release date of its product, which will be sold in its final version.


 The Oculus Rift edition consumer, therefore, will be available from the first quarter of 2016, and can be bought in pre-order for the end of this year.


 The Oculus Rift has gone through various stages of design, since it was exhibited for the first time on ‘Kickstarter’. The developers, in fact, have long been able to test several prototypes of the product, the last of which is called Crescent Bay, the prototype is expected to have the design and functionality very similar to the final version of Oculus Rift.


 The Crescent Bay was proposed during the event Oculus Connect and although the technical specifications have been partially revealed, he got to know all the facets. The viewer, in fact, seems to have made great strides compared to its predecessors.


 The main thing that can be observed in this viewer is the optics in combination with the screen, completely revised and improved, which provides an experience of use really surprising, since it is not possible to appreciate the presence of pixels on the screen. In addition, the integrated audio has undergone some changes, appearing now much more realistic and three-dimensional.
