Vivo X5 Pro - first smartphone with retinal scanner

Vivo X5 Pro - first smartphone with retinal scanner

The new Vivo X5 Pro may be one of the first smartphone with support for the retinal scanner to further increase the security in the fingerprint reader.

During the past year and also in 2013 there was much talk of the possibility of introducing on smartphones and tablet on a system for authentication via retinal scanner that allows you to have a higher security (if well implemented) compared to fingerprints that They have often proved fallacious on mobile devices with the ability to bypass the authentication system. One of the first manufacturers to launch a model with this feature, however, will not be one of the “big” but Vivo, now that is slowly emerging on the market thanks to a good relationship between design and functionality. The phablet that will be equipped with the retinal scanner is called Vivo X5 Pro and give confirmation of the implementation is really the producer himself.

The Vivo X5 Pro should have between specifications a screen 6 “diagonal, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (with support for 64-bit registers) and 3 GB of RAM, all powered by a battery of 3200 mAh or 3500 mAh . One of the peculiarities of these ores smartphone is that it will support the USB Type-C that should become the next standard in mobile devices (and others). The front camera will be able to play selfie 32 megapixel with technology which combines multiple shots (as already seen on other smartphones, for example those of OPPO) and otherwise contrary to what happens having a sensor resolution of the actual capacity of that kind.

The rear camera will be very fast enough to get to match that of the iPhone 6 and will be used for the structure of the chassis of the metal combined with glass worked (2.5D) to the front so as to give a touch of exclusivity to the new Vivo X5 Pro . Returning to the issue of the retinal scanner, it is difficult to know its real effect until the product will not be on the market and definitely will be a product to be put to the test in terms of security by showing the pros and cons of the technology used.
