Huawei will run on its own operating system Kirin OS

After manufacture its own processors, Huawei is seeking independence in another area: the operating system. A new rumor indeed indicates that it is currently working on a Kirin OS to replace Android.

For several years, the mobile OS market is roughly split in two. On one hand, Apple with iOS. On the other, Google with Android. Bipolarity that does not suit everybody but nobody is at present managed to overturn. Yet they are likely to have tried: Microsoft, Mozilla, Canonical or Samsung. In vain. Admittedly launch an OS is already not easy. Add Apple and Google in the face and it is almost lost in advance. Yet another manufacturer would be willing to try his luck.

This is probably not the one we would have thought at first since it has always been true to Google. Lately, rumors even marked him as the constructor of the next Nexus. So difficult to imagine wanting to escape the grip of the online search giant, which has more to him, to date, been fairly successful as it allowed him to join the Top 3 biggest sellers of smartphones worldwide in 2014. If you still do not have understood, we speak of course of Huawei.

According GizmoChina, the OS would work on which Huawei was named Kirin, like its chipsets, and is under development for three years. No details about the interface or special features however. Given the severe remarks towards Windows Phone, more or less qualified financial abyss, we are obviously curious about what really prepares Huawei and will not fail to follow the progress of work over the leaks.

It is also necessary that this work is actually in progress, of course. Let us recall that it is for now just a rumor and the lack of detail obviously calls for caution.
