Samsung CHOPIN-LTE - new tablet with 4GB of RAM and Intel processor in 14 NM

Samsung CHOPIN-LTE - new tablet with 4GB of RAM and Intel processor in 14 NM

While the Galaxy Tab S2 8 and 9.7 prepare for their arrival in June, now a new Samsung tablet has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark tool. Quite surprisingly, it equips an Intel processor engraved in 14 nanometers and supported by 4 GB of Ram. Samsung CHOPIN-LTE tablet will resolutely upscale.

In the space of 24 hours, the device was tested four times on the platform under the codename Samsung CHOPIN-LTE. The specifications mention the presence of an Intel Atom x5-Z8500 accompanied by 4GB of RAM processor, all under Android 5.1 Lollipop. Formalized in March, the Intel Atom Cherry Trail x5-Z8500 is a quad core processor clocked at 2.24 GHz and engraved in 14 nanometers exclusively for tablets.

In terms of performance, we are on scores of 1002 points on single-core test and 3408 points on the multi core test is substantially equivalent results to those of the Galaxy Note 4. Unfortunately, the benchmark tool provides no information concerning the size or the definition of the screen.

Knowing that the technical characteristics of Galaxy Tab S2 have already been unveiled, first by sources SamMobile, then by a benchmark, it is clear that it is neither tablet to be announced next month. Moreover, we think rather to a new range. The question is when it will be officially presented.

The IFA in Berlin is of course an enabling event but probably too close to the launch of the next two tablets Samsung AMOLED. Moreover, between Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Gear A and curved his next smartphone, it is unlikely that the firm also announced a tablet Samsung CHOPIN-LTE, although in terms of schedule, an announcement in September would be perfect to beat the next iPad.
