Two variants of the smartphone Oppo R7 been certified in China

The Oppo R7 is accurate at the approach of his announcement, scheduled before the end of the month. The smartphone comes including TENAA appear in the database with all of its technical specifications and some photos.

With an announcement scheduled in the month of May which has just begun, we obviously expect to learn a little more about Oppo R7 quickly. And we were not disappointed. The smartphone  Oppo R7 has just appeared in the TENAA database, the Chinese certification body. Two inputs are even devoted to it since two variants are apparently planned: R7c and R7t.

However, they are very close. Our colleagues from Mobile-dad, to whom we owe this discovery, have also polled only difference. This is the chipset. In both cases, it rests on an octa-core configuration but the depth is not the same. For R7c is Qualcomm that is found in the heart of the smartphone with the Snapdragon 615 1.5GHz. For R7t is MediaTek MT6752 with its clocked at 1.7 GHz. Note that the GPU also varies: Adreno 405 and Mali-T760.

The rest of the specs are identical: Full HD 5-inch screen, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory expandable, 13 and 8-megapixel camera and 2320 mAh battery. A rare configuration on the mid-range segment. It nevertheless has a small downside. The OS is identified as Android 4.4.4 KitKat and not Lollipop yet available since November 2014. Finally, note that the whole is ultimately stored in a fairly standard metal chassis.

The screen borders are far from non-existent as claimed by persistent rumors of yet. No fingerprint reader either. In size, they are far less impressive than those of R5 with its 4.85 mm thick. The R7, it is 6.3 mm thick. At least Oppo should not have been wrong to include a headphone jack on the side this time.

It remains now to discover its price, release date, and especially markets that welcome but we are pretty confident for Europe with this variant as Snapdragon.
