HTC One M9 + a new smartphone with plastic body is certified in China

HTC One M9 + a new smartphone with plastic body is certified in China

A month after the launch of One M9 +, HTC seems to be about to decline in the economy version. A One M9e just been certified in China. It is based on an almost identical specs but its chassis is plastic.

HTC created the One E to pick up the Chinese manufacturers on their home turf with attractive prices for similar configurations to those of the One. Main difference between the two ranges, the materials used for the chassis. The metal is generally replaced fully or partially by the plastic to lower the sale price. Small changes can also intervene technically but they are so light. So we were surprised that the One E9 + is larger than the One M9 +, besides being devoid of the fingerprint reader. There actually has a logical explanation.

There is no equivalent, which is only poised to get out. It is for the time known as the One M9e code and has just TENAA appear in the database, the Chinese certification body. The datasheet is: QHD screen of 5.2 inches, octa-core 2.2GHz chipset, 3GB of RAM, 20 megapixel camera and webcam UltraPixel. You will also notice the presence of the fingerprint reader below the display, as shown by the photos included in the folder.

The main difference is to look on the outside. The frame seems made of plastic rather than metal. The second sensor used for Duo Camera is missing elsewhere but this was already the case with the One E8, plastic declination of One (M8) and it’s no great loss. It remains now to discover the price of the new One M9 +, at the risk of some envious down home since, like all other models cited in this article, it certainly not out of Asia.

We should not have long to wait. Now that the certification was obtained in China, the launch should follow soon.
