Sharp will launch two new smartphones this summer with the operator Softbank. The first is the Aquos Crystal 2. The second – Aquos Xx. And if he does not play very much in the same category, they have at least one thing in common: a design, as always, particularly minimalist.
Sharp is known for its screens at home, including its IGZO panels, but also smartphones it sells at his home in Japan, and we like to follow their minimalist and cool designs. We therefore could not miss the arrival of two new models in the Aquos range. They are presented to us by Mobiltelefon and complement the summer line-up of the operator SoftBank.
Sharp Aquos Crystal 2
The first is as the successor to Aquos Crystal released last summer. He was baptized logically Aquos Crystal 2 and obviously retains almost borderless display on each side and at the top, while bringing many improvements. The first is a bigger and better defined since the diagonal screen 5.2 inches and passes the definition, 1080p HD. Memory is also more generous 2 GB RAM and 16 GB for storage, against a combination 1.5 / 8 GB on the first model.
The chipset is unfortunately not specified but, given the increase in definition of the display, it seems quite logical that the Snapdragon 400 has also been replaced. A 2.1 megapixel webcam is however mentioned. The Aquos Crystal 2 is also tight, although the degree of protection (IP) is not given, and runs Android Lollipop.
Sharp Aquos Xx
The second is a continuation of Xx range in the segment of phablettes with a 5.7 inch Full HD screen surrounded broader barely edging on the sides and top. He did not play in the same category when it comes to performance as it is equipped with a Snapdragon 810 coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. A 13-megapixel main camera and a battery are also listed. The whole is enclosed in a frame, too, sealed and runs Android Lollipop.
No price has been disclosed but it is not very important since these two new models will certainly never arrive home.
