Noteslate Company unveiled its new tablet, which is marketed as a notebook and has a display of electronic ink. Noteslate SHIRO will be available later this year and will cost $ 199.
Noteslate SHIRO features a 6.8-inch E Ink Pearl display with a resolution of 1080 x 1440 pixels, which can display 16 shades of gray and has a built-in backlight for low light conditions. The tablet has an intuitive interface with handwriting and, according to developers, is intended to replace the daily paper and a pencil.
Noteslate SHIRO supports pressure-sensitive digital pen input, allowing the user to make more accurate notes and sketches professional. It is also possible to work with the device simply with your fingers to navigate through the menu and write the text.
As for the filling, the tablet is equipped with a Freescale processor at 1 GHz; it has a slot for cards microSD, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Noteslate SHIRO tablet running its own operating system. That is, we can say that the device is more like an electronic book than a tablet.
