LG G4 - autonomy is the Achilles heel

LG G4 - autonomy is the Achilles heel

After it have proposed different benchmarks LG G4, here is the first battery of tests last Korean phone. Like its predecessor, it equips a battery of 3000 mAh and a 5.5 inch display of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Thus, the only factors that may improve the autonomy reside in the Snapdragon 808 processor and possible software optimizations made by LG.

With its 3000 mAh battery, the LG G4 offers a capacity greater than that of its competitors as long as the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge or HTC One M9 which nevertheless displays a higher endurance thanks to its Full HD 1080p display. Where it is more worrying is that the autonomy of the last flagship of LG is lower than that of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge while offers 450 mAh more than the conventional model and 400 mAh more than the curved model.

However, optimizations made by Samsung with its latest Exynos 7420 chip engraved in 14 nanometers visibly allow its two jewels to rise above the competition in terms of autonomy, without proposing a monstrous battery.

The last two flagships where Samsung manage to keep more than seven to eight hours respectively arriving just after Xperia Z3 and Galaxy Note 4, the LG G4 has a range of only 6 hours and 6 minutes during script execution PhoneArena. So sometimes last just after beating the G3 few minutes.

In terms of load times, no miracle either because it will take him not less than two hours and seven minutes to fully charges the battery for two hours against the G3. So arrives just before the penultimate Xperia Z3 and was beaten soundly by the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. As we could see, the LG G4 does not benefit from fast charging Quick Charge 2.0 but only fast charger 1.8 amps signed LG as was the case of G3.
