Panasonic Eluga L - smartphone with 5 inch HD screen

Panasonic Eluga L - smartphone with 5 inch HD screen

Panasonic is back with a new smartphone for the Indian market, the Eluga L. Positioned in the segment of mid-range devices, it has a particular HD 5-inch screen and Snapdragon 410, but still runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Having announced its intention to withdraw from the mobile phone there few years ago, Panasonic is back on center stage in 2012 with his Eluga, a smartphone that stood out mainly by its seal (meets IP57) a very rare specificity at the time.

Since then, the manufacturer continues to introduce his successor, who all made quite discreet. But Panasonic had some success in some countries, including India, where the brand enjoys a good popularity. This explains why the Japanese company continues to go out there for new smartphones.

A new mid-range has also just been formalized, named after Eluga L, according to information gathered by Android OS. Featuring HD 5-inch screen, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, accompanied by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB for storage, expandable up to 32GB via the presence of a MicroSD slot. Enough end with 6.1 mm thick, it benefits from the Corning Gorilla Glass protection to protect its screen.

Compatible 4G, the Panasonic Eluga L works however Android 4.4 KitKat. A choice that seems fairly understandable given that Lollipop came out there six months. Still photography is pretty decent since a 8 megapixel sensor is present at the back of the device, along with a LED flash and autofocus, while a 5-megapixel webcam is integrated on the front the phone.

However do not expect to see happen in Europe as it is intended for the Indian market at a price set at 12,990 rupees, the equivalent of 180 euros.
