Nvidia Shield Tablet with Tegra X1 coming to the end of March?

Nvidia Shield Tablet with Tegra X1 coming to the end of March

New rumors indicate that Nvidia is already working on a new version of Shield Tablet, which will be updated / upgraded with the new chipset Tegra X1, on paper more powerful chips for existing mobile.

Nvidia Tegra X1, the new chipset Octa-core (4 core Cortex A57 + 4 core Cortex A53) coupled to Maxwell GPU with 256 unified core that can achieve overall processing power equal to a Teraflop announced in January at CES 2015 the new chip will be used on the next Nvidia Shield Tablet.

The successor to the Nvidia Shield tablet with Tegra K1 chipset think that could make its official debut already, or at least be announced by the end of March; some rumors are even more precise the date for March 17, 2015.

The new Shield Tablet should most certainly, but it is better to remain in doubt given that there are still no reliable data, have the same form factor version with Tegra K1 or an 8-inch display diagonal 16:10.

There are no details on the rest of the hardware sector to be proposed in the new version; definitely Nvidia will release two versions of Shield Tablet with Tegra X1: a Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE, as is already happening with the current tablet.

Still unknown the sale price, but since the new chipset X1 is definitely more powerful than K1 is likely that this latest version will not replace the current Shield Tablet but will exceed as price range; currently the tablet Nvidia has a base price of 299 Euros for the 16GB version + Wifi rising to 379.99 euro for the 32GB version of internal memory and connectivity WiFi + LTE; considered these prices and if the new tablet will not replace the old one then expect higher prices compared to the latter.

As always, since there are still no reliable data, given all of this information as possible / assumptions and therefore take the time away intellectual / emotional.
