After the launch of Elements security package and tablet, the German company Gigaset specializing in DECT phones continue to diversify and lands on the area of objects connected with a Bluetooth tag that allows finding any object. “A woman spends 107 days of her life searching for her purse, a driver passes 168 hours of his life to find out where his car is parked, each of us spend 38 days looking for keys,” says video product presentation: what give ideas to manufacturers who are more likely to offer this type of accessories.


 Like competing products on the market: Wistiki, Bluebee Mini or other Gablys, the G-Tag proposes to find his car, the baggage at the airport or further strengthen the protection of its valuables. Gigaset as it offers a mini object contained 12 g with dimensions of 37 x 37 x 9.2 mm. This one looks like a key chain and offers a location function in a range of 30 meters. It warns the user when an object enters or leaves the Bluetooth detection range smartphone which it is connected via a dedicated application (compatible iOS and Android). The tag sends a notification to find the object “G-Tagged.”

 Travelers who fly can place a G-Tag in their luggage to be prevented by notification of the arrival of the latter on the carousel. It is indeed possible to use the application as radar to know how far the objects are sought. The integrated battery Gigaset G-tag promises a lifespan of up to 1 year.


 Gigaset G-tag comes in 5 colors, classic black and white to more vivid, red, green and orange. The tag will be available on February 7 at the price of 19.99 € per unit or per 3 (€ 49.99) or 5 (€ 79.99).
