AOC unveils a monitor for “entertainment to the last pixel”, a panel for gamers 1ms response time and resolution WQHD
AOC has unveiled a new monitor for gamers – and not – with a very attractive price in relation to the technical characteristics. With the initials Q2778VQE, the Taiwanese brand offers a monitor from 27 “to WQHD resolution (2560×1440) with a response time of 1 ms GTG, therefore suitable for” rich games of action “but also quieter visions of high-definition movies or audio content -Video generic.
Although AOC talk to an audience of players, the panel Q2778VQE is able to unleash a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz, feature a bit ‘subdued compared to the products of the most extreme category, which can reach up to 144Hz. The display is based on a TN panel (with viewing angles, therefore, reduced compared to the IPS LCD) by 68,6cm diagonal with aspect-ratio of 16: 9 and capable of reaching 350 cd / m² maximum brightness. The high resolution can provide a higher level of detail on the games, but also considerable advantages in terms of productivity. AOC cites the photographer, as a potential example of the professional interested in Q2778VQE, but it is good to specify how technologies TN not marry well with the needs of the latter.
The monitor can be connected to different systems (including even the console) via connectors DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI and D-Sub. AOC Q2778VQE is already available in Europe from authorized dealers at a recommended retail price of 399 €.
