Orange formalizes Fova its new 4G smartphone







The operator has just lifted the veil on its new smartphone compatible with mobile broadband. His name Fova and focuses primarily on the price to seduce.


 After Nura and Roya, Orange expands its range of smartphones with Fova, a terminal that we could classify between the entry and midrange. Marketed under the Orange brand, it was actually designed by the Taiwanese manufacturer Gigabyte.


 5-inch display, 4G and Android 4.4 KitKat


 The smartphone Orange Fova presents a 5-inch IPS display with an average resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. In its back cover imitation leather hides a quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 1.2GHz, accompanied by 1GB of RAM. For storage, we will have 8GB, which it will be possible to add a memory card up to 32 GB.

 Photo hand, Fova carries two sensors: one 5 megapixel rear and one of only 0.3 megapixel fronts. For connectivity, it is quite full since it has 4G compatibility (category 4, with a theoretical maximum throughput of 150 Mbit / s), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Fova runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It has a 2200 mAh battery and weighs 150 grams.

 Being marketed by Orange, the Fova offers pre-installed applications such as Orange TV, Orange WiFi, voice mail or Cineday. It also benefits from the X-Office application that provides the ability to work on his smartphone, whether on a presentation, spreadsheet, or word processing software.


 Another feature available to it as the Orange smartphone: it takes advantage of the service “Orange Gestures” that can initiate an action by drawing a symbol on their smartphone (for example, you can configure the drawing of the letter Z to call Zoe your friend).


 Launched on February 26 in physical stores operator, it is already present on its online stores: the price of € 121 at Orange and 89 € at Sosh (without subsidy). Its main asset is to offer 4G at relatively low prices.
