Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 SM-T815 with a 9.7-inch diagonal display has made its appearance in the database Benchmark GeekBench, which reveals its main hardware features.
As some or many of you know already, the Korean company Samsung is working to the successors of the current Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5, and confirmation of everything today appeared in the database of the Benchmark GeekBench model SM-T815, which would be the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 seconds GeekBench would use a 9.6-inch diagonal display (but I will actually 9.7) with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, which make us well understand that the new tablet will have the format to 4: 3 (iPad style) and no longer in 16:10 as its predecessor Tab S.
If the display on the card will be less resolute, you will instead improvements from the point of view of the CPU as the new Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 would use a chipset Octa-Core ARMv7 architecture big.LITTLE with four Cortex A57 core operating at maximum frequency of 1.9 GHz and 4 core Cortex A53 joined by a Mali GPU T760MP6 with 6 core graphics (on paper this chipset could be the new Exynos 7420 or a variant).
Octa-core chipset will be joined 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory (of which 25 should be available to the user); however, we think that the tablet will surely also the slot for micro sd to expand the internal memory.
From the point of view of multimedia does not seem there is some news about it, since we always find the 7-8 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash capable of taking pictures at a maximum resolution of 3264 x 2449 pixels and record video in FULL HD 1080p, while the front camera is 2 megapixels that besides taking Selfie, make video calls is also capable of recording video at 1080p.
These are the main hardware features that Geekbeench unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, but previous rumors have indicated that this tablet will be particularly compact and lightweight as it should have a reduced thickness in just 5.4 mm and a total weight not exceeding 407 grams, which means it could be much thinner and lighter for example iPad Air 2 from Apple.
From the software point of view we find the Android version 5.0.2 Lollipop with custom interface Samsung TouchWiz; Unfortunately we have not yet information on when and where this new ultra slim tablet and top of the range will hit the market.
