Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, tablet with the main feature being ultra-resistant to shocks and scratches, will start selling in India at a price not cheap.
During the Samsung Forum which was held in Bangkok today it was announced that the new tablet running the Korean company Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, which is a device that has as its main feature to be extremely resistant to impact and scratch therefore suitable for the most extreme environments, will begin very early in the marketing in India.
Strong point of this product is certified IP67 making it completely impervious to water and dirt in general; more Samsung certifies that its Galaxy Tab Active can fall from a height of 1.2 meters and not in the least bring a scratch; the protective cover also has a space within which includes a C-Pen capacitive stylus that can be very helpful to take notes, or for other functions attached to it.
From the hardware point of view things instead become more simple, since this product uses more or less the same components that are upright on a common Galaxy Tab 4; facts of the Tab Active uses a LCD display 8-inch diagonal with 1280 x 800 pixels, has a Snapdragon 400 chipset with quad core processor running at maximum frequency of 1.2 GHz paired with 1.5Gb of RAM, camera rear 3.1 megapixel autofocus camera, 1.2 megapixel front camera, 16GB of internal memory expandable with microSD up to 64GB, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, uSB 2.0 port, Free 3G + 4G LTE.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is then powered by a battery 4450 mAh and its dimensions are 213.1 x 126.2 x 9.75 mm and a total weight of 393 grams; will be available for sale in a single color: gray titanium.
Unfortunately it will not be a tablet “cheap”; the first clues (although I am not certified) indicate that the product will have a list price of about € 730 in India, a price definitely not for many, so much so that Samsung will market for the first time only through certain authorized partners; the date of marketing is still unknown, and no one knows yet whether this tablet will arrive in Europe.
