Unveiled the specifications of two new tablets 2015: A Samsung Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Tab A Plus, the latter with capacitive stylus S-Pen; here is the hardware known.
As some of you know already, recent rumors indicate that for 2015 Samsung is working on a new series of tablet Galaxy Tab series that will take the name of Table A, Tab E and Tab J (article that you can read here) and replace most likely the series Tab 3 and Tab 4 currently on the market and available for sale in Europe.
The new products will be directed mainly to the high and mid-range market average; with the introduction of the new chipset coded 64Bit and then full support to the operating system Android 5.0 Lollipop, which on paper then it will optimize the overall performance.
Among the new products planned for 2015, were unveiled today the alleged hardware features two tablets belonging to the series A: Samsung Galaxy Tab A and the Galaxy Tab A Plus, two devices respectively 8 and 9.7-inch diagonal.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is an android tablet with 8-inch display diagonal 4: 3 and 1024 x 768 pixels, equipped with a Snapdragon 410 chipset with four Cortex A53 core operating at maximum frequency of 1.2 GHz and Adreno GPU 306, 1.5 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory expandable with most likely the presence of the microSD slot.
The multimedia sector consists of a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera; the whole thing is powered by an internal battery 4200 mAh, support LTE connectivity and access (maybe it will be enabled also to telephone calls) and thickness of only 7.4 mm.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A Plus instead has a 9.7-inch diagonal display with a 4: 3 (resolution unknown) that works with a new chipset Qualcomm AP8016 who works at the maximum frequency of 1.2 GHz; inside we find 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory (expandable surely), a 5-megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera knows, internal battery 6000 mAh, support again to the LTE + WiFi connectivity, thickness 7.4 mm.
The Galaxy Tab A Plus in addition to differentiate to some hardware features compared to Tab A, is combined with a capacitive stylus S-Pen, an ‘accessory that will make its appearance for the first time on a device for the mid-market and not more to the top of the range or high-end.
As mentioned in previous rumors, Samsung also in 2015 will produce many more tablet in 4: 3 format by following the strategies of Apple (which makes for years) and that of Google with its Nexus 9; Unfortunately, these products do not know another; we do not know for example when they are sold, at what price and in what countries.
