Toshiba Satellite Z30-B very thin ultrabook with 16 hours of battery life

Toshiba has renewed one of its most iconic ultrabooks. The new Toshiba Satellite Z30-B comes in two different configurations (Toshiba Satellite Z30-B-110 and Toshiba Satellite Z30-B-100) but has two fundamental premises. On the one hand, a very lightweight design of only 1.2 kilos which allows us to transport this laptop anywhere. On the other hand, a remarkable range of up to 16 hours of use to work with the team for a whole day without having to worry about the plug. All with one of the latest Intel Core chips last generation and a good set of connections. The Toshiba Satellite Z30-B-110 is priced at 900 euros, while the Satellite Z30-B-100 rises to 1,100 euros. We tell you the details.

One of the keys who wanted to maintain and improve Toshiba the range Z30 is its autonomy. By using a fifth-generation processor Intel Core, time of use of this equipment rises to a maximum of 16 hours in the case of Satellite Z30-B-100 and up to 17 hours for the Satellite Z30-B -110. In both cases, we are against teams that will endure without problems a whole day or a long trip without having to recharge. This adds up to a very manageable format with light weight of 1.2 kilos and a thickness of 1.79 inches to become an excellent companion for mobile workers or users to move much.

The Toshiba Satellite Z30-B-110 bet on an Intel Core i3-5005U dual core processor with a power of 2 GHz per core and four threads simultaneously process. This chip is combined with a RAM of 4 GB. Meanwhile, the most powerful model Z30-B-100 uses an Intel Core i5-5200U chip dual-core 2.2 GHz and four processing threads. Thanks to the Turbo Boost technology, this speed can be up to 2.7 GHz in times of need. In this case, RAM is placed in the 8 GB. There is also difference in storage. Although the two models opt for an SSD card, the basic configuration has an internal memory of 128 GB while model B-100 raises the capacity to 256 GB. In both cases, we enjoy a good speed disk access and system startup.

Toshiba has made a good set of connections for these models. For example, despite its fineness we can enjoy an Ethernet port to directly connect the computer to the network. We also have three USB 3.0 ports for high speed rates ten times faster than traditional USB transfer. All these ports have the Sleep & Charge functionality to charge our mobile devices even when in sleep state. To transfer the contents to a monitor or TV HDMI port and an RGB port is used. The connections are completed with Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi AC, a protocol that favors more rapid and stable connection. The Toshiba Satellite Z30-B110 is priced at 900 euros, while the Toshiba Satellite Z30-B-100 rises to 1,100 euros.
