Acer has just introduced its new 2015 product portfolio and among them is the Acer Iconia One 8 B1-820, its new compact tablet which includes an improved touch screen response. The compact tablets are consolidated balance between visual experience and usability category, besides its price tends to be adjusted. Acer also adds Acer Precision Plus technology, which manages to increase the sensitivity of the panel, allowing making gestures or drawing with a stylus more precisely. Its screen measures 8 inches and has a casual, design available in a range of colors. Inside integrates an Intel Atom, Android 5.0 Lollipop and exclusive Acer applications processor.
The new Acer Iconia One 8 features the Acer Precision Plus technology, which integrates smaller and more accurate than conventional touch sensors and offers a smoother and flawless touch experience. Acer also offers accessory Acer Accurate Stylus to draw or write freehand on the panel, but also allows writing with pencil normal graphite whose tip is 2 mm. The panel is 8 inches and features the IPS and Zero Air Gap technology. By eliminating the space between the cover glass and touch panel reflections are reduced and the IPS system offers better viewing angle. Acer includes customizable reading mode, you can adjust the amount of blue light emitted by the panel to avoid eyestrain. To configure just have to swipe down with two fingers and the menu appears.
The Intel Atom processor is a quad core, supported by 2GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop, which improves system performance. It will come in two versions with different capacity to choose between 16 or 32 GB, both compatible with MicroSD cards. It also has two cameras, 3 megapixel on the front and 5MP on the back. The main camera has a wide angle (88 degrees) and can cover a wider frame. The design is quite compact with a weight of 355 grams and a thickness of 9.5 mm. Their corners and edges are rounded to make it comfortable to hold and back cover has a rough texture that improves grip. It will come in a range ten bright colors, although Acer has several more muted tones like black and light gray.
The Acer Iconia One 8 comes with several preinstalled applications as standard. The EZ Note function saves typing notes, writing with a stylus, dictating our voice or from a screenshot. With EZ WakeUp we can unlock the screen by two touches on it and EZ Gadget displays multiple tools in a popup window. The Acer Iconia One 8 will be available in Europe from July at a price of 180 euros.
