Samsung Gear A new smartwatch that will implement the 3G and calls

After completing his goal of being the first to put smartwatch wrists users, Samsung already has in mind something more ambitious – do the Smartwatch perfect, or at least come close. To achieve it, Samsung is preparing to release a smartwatch circular with the likely name of Samsung Gear A, codenamed “Orbis”. The device, according to reports, will come in two variants, one with Bluetooth connectivity and one with 3G and support calls. On both versions will still be free Wi-Fi.

Thanks to the well-known site Sammobile.com, we also managed to get the model numbers for the Samsung Gear A for the various carriers and the unlocked model. There will be two main model numbers: SM-SM-R720 and R730. The SM-R730 should be the one with 3G support, as this is the model that Samsung will sell through carriers. There is also a SM-R732 for carriers in South Korea, although we are not sure if this will be different.

Although the Samsung Gear A will surely be one of the best smartwatch made by Samsung, this will still have to compete with the new born in Apple, the Apple Watch. Apple may indeed be at work on a stand-alone version of Watch with 3G and calling features. If this information were to be true, Samsung will have to give his Gear In a marketing push very heavy if you would sell this new device. For now these are all the information that we obtained on this probable new device.
