LG G4 Official: prices, specifications

After many rumors, rumors and leaked information here is that LG in an event held simultaneously in many world cities – New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore, Milan and Istanbul – South Korean household leverage the veil on the new LG G4, the successor the well-known and glorious LG G3, which will give battle to the top of the range of homes competitors.

LG also says,

 If Steve Jobs were alive today, he would have liked the LG G4 .. seen the enormous level of detail that we find on board of this device. Users will be able to have a better grip with leather cooking hand on the back that, unlike other materials, become softer with a unique shine over time

LG also keen to stress that the process for the leather cover is made by a process plant with low environmental impact without losing the characteristics of the material. A process of this type requires approximately 12 weeks of processing for the realization of the cover against 4 weeks required for that traditional plastic.

In this new model of LG G-series we have the volume rocker keys and power on the back of the device; a solution that the company does not seem to totally abandon, positioned below the camera so as to reduce even the frames around the display in the front.

Certainly very interesting to see also how it behaves Snapdragon 808 processor which replaced the more powerful but discontinuous SoC Snapdragon 810 due also to difficulties encountered by Qualcomm in the production and assembly of the same SoC.

Note, however, the lack of a fingerprint reader that will start with a step back to the new top of the range, where this feature has become a habit and that is greatly appreciated by all users.

The new display is an absolute novelty in the field of telephony seen that uses Quantum maintaining the same diagonal and resolution of its predecessor but with a higher brightness of 25% and a color gamut better than 20% at constant consumption.

And ‘totally different than any other display of the planet

A critical point could be the battery from 3,000 mAh which in our view seems a little low for a screen so bright but certainly after the first review will find out if he can maintain the social rhythms, movie and game day.

Big news instead for the photographic industry – perhaps the best camera ever on a smartphone –

That besides having the focus laser (passed down from LG G3), ability to take pictures in RAW, it also presents the “Color Spectrum Sensor” that is able to analyze and measure the colors of a scene before shooting trying to recreate the photos in the best possible way.

The rear camera also has 6 lenses that allow you to capture up to 80% more light than its predecessor helped of course by the opening focal best.

But the news segment on camera does not end there! Inside the sensor has been introduced a glass filter blue often only 0.1 mm, which avoids any excessive emission of infrared rays inside the lens, returning a greater sharpness of colors using standard pixels in size from 1, 12 microns.

Finally LG “embraces” the platform Google Drive and Office, for every purchase; there will be as many as 100 GB of cloud free for 2 years.

 

But we move prices, the basic version of 32 GB with plastic cover will be sold at a price of 699 Euros, while the one with the back cover leather will be marketed at a probable price of 749 Euros (not official yet) while, the marketing will start from the end of June.
