HP Pavilion, Pavilion x360 and Envy x360 version 2015


HP announces two new devices belonging to the category of convertible. The two models of the Pavilion are the X360 and Envy X360, both with a screen that opens up to 360 ° in order to be used as a tablet – and all of its positions in the middle like a tent – as required the type of device.


 It was also announced a fresh model version 2015of the classic Pavilion.

 The cheapest model is the HP Pavilion X360 which starts with a price of $ 410 for the base model, which offers an IPS panel HD (1366 x 768 pixels) 11.6-inch diagonal. It is a fanless system with a choice between CPU Intel Pentium N3700 or Core M-5Y10C, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM, expandable up to 8 GB. The battery 32 WHr guarantees the smallest model of the X360 range of more than eight hours.


 There is a second model that predicts a diagonal greater than a couple of inches, bringing the diagonal 13.3 inches and an Intel Core i3 processor and a RAM which can reach up to 16 GB. Greater the battery, in this model is 48 Whr for about 13 hours of battery life on a single charge.

 Both models are equipped with USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, SD card reader, Ethernet port, and a 500 GB HDD, with the option to choose a solid unit instead of the traditional hard disk.


 The prices for the basic versions of the three models are: $ 410 for the model with the Intel Pentium, $ 500 for the version with Core-M, while the 13-inch model starts with a price of $ 530.

 The HP Pavilion Envy X360 is a more expensive model of the previous just explored: Starts at $ 680. Metal finish and a 15.6-inch are the first sign of “bigger is better”.


 The processors available to the choice ranging from an Intel Core i5 to i7. The basic version of the model offers a resolution of 720p and a 500GB HDD as in the previous device. Going up to $ 770 you can instead get a full HD resolution of 1080p and 1 terabyte hard drive. Even in this computer can be mounted up to 16 GB of RAM and you can install a solid SSD for internal storage.

 From $ 550 for one 14-inch screen, the Pavilion is dedicated to those who are not interested in the category of convertible, for what it is instead a classic laptop.


 Among the configuration options came the Full HD resolution and discrete video cards. The design has been partially revised; although it continues to adopt plastic materials, the look is decidedly less cheap.


 The availability of Pavilion and Pavilion X360 is scheduled for May 13 on the HP website, with the arrival in stores scheduled for June 26. The Envy X360 will have to wait until June 18 for availability on the HP website, while the arrival in stores is the same as the two previous models.
