The Taiwanese company Acer has just carried out a major product presentation in which he revealed many developments related to the projectors. The Acer K138ST has been one of the protagonists of this presentation, since we’re talking about the first LED projector in the world to incorporate an intelligent ambient light sensor. This short-throw projector will be available in stores in Europe from June for a starting price of 700 euros, and this time we will learn more about the features of this new Acer K138ST.

The Acer K138ST is presented as a relatively portable projector (weighs 0.75 kilograms established, and Acer says it takes up less space than an A4 sheet) facing domestic use. We are talking about a LED short-throw projector for projecting an image of 100 inches to 1.7 feet away, so that is intended to be used even in dormitories and rooms in which users want to enjoy films projected on the wall. Even if you do not want to use any additional sound equipment, it is worth noting that self Acer K138ST also incorporates a DTS sound.

But one of the most striking features of Acer K138ST is your technology LumiSense +. This technology is based on an embedded within the projector itself, depending on the ambient light is available at all times, automatically optimizes image brightness and color saturation light sensor. This technology is accompanied by others such as the ColorBoost3D, aimed at offering a real palette of colors, or the ColorSafe II and DynamicBlack.

The Acer K138ST reproduces images with a contrast that reaches 100,000: 1 points through WXGA resolution. Returning to the aspect of the sound, it is also interesting that this Acer projector incorporates Bluetooth wireless connectivity, allowing you to connect to the speakers with this connectivity without using cables.

The availability of Acer K138ST in European market points to June, the date from which you can buy for a price established in 700 euros. In addition to this model, Acer has also introduced two other projectors with somewhat higher prices: the Acer P5515, capable of displaying full HD 1080 pixels with up to 4,000 lumens of brightness (available from May at a price of 800 euros) and the Acer U5320W an ultra-short throw projector is able to project an image of 100 inches at a distance of 80 centimeters (available from July at a price of 950 euros).
