Nikon has renewed once again its “One” with J5 revision that combines modernity and ergonomics on small versatile hybrid housing. Electronic hand, 20.8 megapixels CMOS BSI sensor is coupled to the new processor EXPEED 5A, and autofocus – also hybrid – combines phase detection zones 105 and contrast of 171 zones. The maximum burst is 60 f / s fixed AF, and 20 i / s Continuous AF (not full resolution though).
Integrating WiFi and NFC modules, the Nikon 1 J5 is able to record video in 4K Ultra HD, but only at 15 frames / s. It must indeed go down in Full HD 1080p to record at 24, 30 or 60 frames / s. And up to 120 i / s and enjoy detailed slowly down, it will choose 720p definition. Note the presence of a timelapse feature that allows up to 300 shots every 5, 10 or 30 seconds, or until 2:30 automatic coverage range.
Another point on which Nikon insists the presence of a rotating screen of -86 ° to + 180 ° which facilitates decision selfies (especially once the device attached to the end of a Selfie-stick).
The case measures 98.3 x 59.7 x 31.5 mm and weighs 231 grams, its autonomy is set to 250 photos. The Nikon 1 J5 will be marketed in packs with a target 1 Nikkor VR 10-30mm f / 3.5-5.6 and costs € 499 VAT as of 30 April. It will be available in two colors: black and black / silver (with matching lens).
