Google continues to expand its range of Chromebook with more and more partners: Hisense and Haier are in addition to other manufacturers.
If Microsoft is preparing an offensive against the Chromebook (see Microsoft: to portable PC 150 € to compete Chromebooks), Google continues to trace its path. In addition to two new models signed a historic partner, namely Asus Chromebook family welcomes two new members: the Haier Chromebook 11 HR-116R and Hisense Chromebook.
All four inaugurate the arrival of Rockchip 3288 in the Chromebook, a SoC with 4 cores ARM Cortex-A17, a Mali-T764 GPU and supporting 4G networks. To support this chip, everyone on board 2 GB of RAM, while storage side, it will often be just 16GB of flash memory.
The connection is the same on both laptops, since they each have two USB 2.0 ports and a microSD card reader. The size and price are also the same: the 11.6-inch Chromebook sold 149 dollars.
Asus has announced his side the Chromebook C201 and Flip, also based on the Rockchip 3288. The C201, C200 evolution, canned Technical Specifications: Display on 1366 by 768 pixels, while you can get 4GB option. Asus announces 13 hours of battery life for this model of 18 mm and less than one kilogram. It will be sold for 169 dollars current May.
Flip resume the concept of Lenovo Yoga, with a screen that will switch to 360 °, all with a 10.1-inch chassis (1280 x 800 pixels) that will only 15mm thick and weighs only 900 grams. Again, you can opt for optional 4GB and even 32GB storage. The Flip has a wireless system 802.11ac Wi-Fi enabled and Bluetooth 4.0. Asus promises 10 hours. Its price: $ 249.
