Manta 7X - the first smartphone without physical button

Sneak preview last December, the Manta 7X is the first smartphone from the Manta young brand. It is a high-end smartphone with enticing features whose main characteristic is that they have no physical button.

For its first smartphone, Manta wanted to be remembered. Manta 7X is indeed the first Android smartphone with no physical button. So there is no button that goes beyond to turn the phone or to adjust the volume. Manta had the original idea of making the edges of the touch phone. Not only allow them to turn on the phone and adjust the volume, but also serve to navigate the menus and launch applications. It is also likely that they can control the phone via specific gestures. Finally, it seems that these screen borders also contain a fingerprint sensor. More conventionally, the Home button, capacitive touch, is located below the screen.

Besides this feature at least strange, Mantra 7X is as high smartphone interesting range. It is a large 5.5 inches smartphone with a Sharp Full HD display, a Snapdragon 801 processor 2.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM and an impressive 4200 mAh battery. Its dimensions are 151.3 × 76 × 9.8 mm and weighs 200 grams. A relatively high weight but which is explained in part by the smartphone fully metal finishes and certainly his big battery. End this series of numbers by two information: the phone is certified IP55 (it is sealed against dust and water splashes) and screen covers 74.96% of the front panel. Finally, the camera features a now traditional 13-megapixel sensor, the Sony IMX 214 that we know well to be present on OnePlus One particular.

For now the Manta 7X is only available in China only through the website of the brand. Manta 7X costing 4080 Yuan (about 569 euros), which is rather high for a Chinese smartphone. For now it seems that the brand does not want to go beyond the Asian borders. But the smartphone is compatible with our 3G frequency bands, so it is quite possible to import it.
