MediaTek MT6795: still a true competitor for the Snapdragon 810?

MediaTek MT6795 is preparing the launch of an octo-core 64-bit high-end supposed to compete with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810. Is it really worth? First answer with Geekbench.

During the summer of 2014, MediaTek officially presented its first three chipsets compatible 64-bit: the MT6732, MT6752 and MT6795. While the first two are now in smartphones sold (eg Vitamin A for the first and Acer Liquid Jade S for the second), the MT6795 is still awaited. And highly anticipated because it is representative of the offer upscale MediaTek and a potential competitor for the Snapdragon 810, like the nVidia Tegra X1 and Exynos 7420 (that of the Galaxy S6 logically) of Samsung.

As the MT6795 is very rare, difficult to compare with the current reference (which should indeed equip a number of high-end smartphones passable despite some media coverage in recent weeks). Kyocera will present at MWC a prototype smartphone solar charging

Most of us are busy waiting with curiosity and increasingly expect to know the objects of worship that will unfold in Barcelona, Galaxy S6 and HTC M9 are expected to debut, and it’s easy to forget that there are also a lot of other brands who want to showcase their products. One of these is definitely Kyocera.
