Samsung A-Series: More smartphones planned with metal frame

Galaxy Alpha Production

The recently announced Samsung Galaxy Alpha was apparently only the first of many smartphones that the South Korean company with a metal frame would like to bring to the market. Accordingly, three more units are already planned for the third quarter, which will be sort in various price ranges. This includes the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 moreover not, which is also expected with metal frame, for it shall be a new A-series act. With the A-300, A-500 and A-700, three new models are so far appeared. In any case, Samsung would like the premium design was not only reserved for the upper class and how actually to be expected, as many smartphones as possible, deliver the new material.

Really many details about the new Samsung A-300, A-500 and A-700 are smartphones it has not. The new models are very similar from the design and material selection for Samsung Galaxy Alpha fail. Accordingly, Samsung could bring the metal frame in the entry-level and mid-range with different display sizes. It would have surprised us in the end, if Samsung would not go that route. The Samsung A-300 should therefore be well located in the lower price range and have a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, while the A-500 and A-700 smartphones each with Full HD display and Android 4.4 KitKat come. Full HD displays would mean, in effect, display sizes with more than 5 inches. Thus, the further specifications could be less good. Update: Seem surely be only HD displays. / Update

The feedback for the Samsung Galaxy Alpha with the metal frame and not to the large display was actually very positive. If Samsung pays more attention in the future on the metal instead of plastic, it would justify the sometimes exorbitant prices on some device. Also you can already predict that Samsung will build a tablet with a metal frame, which will also be of high quality. With the Samsung Galaxy S6 could then go one step further and perhaps even a next year smartphone with complete metal casing imagine. But whether this would be realistic and can retain the ability to replace the battery, we have to wait. The previous development is positive factor and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will show how well such a smart phone with metal housing really matters.
