LG G3 vs LG G3 Stylus

LG G3 vs LG G3 Stylus

LG introduced its latest flagship earlier this summer and since then have released an issue with smaller screen, but it does not stop there. Korean company today announced the arrival of another derivative of LG G3, it is the LG G3 Stylus and as you’re imagining, the main difference is it has a touch pointer that is integrated into the chassis. But beware because this is not the only difference between the LG G3 Stylus and LG G3, its technical profile is quite different , although it has maintained a very similar design and also share some unique features of LG. see all the differences in the following comparative.

LG G3 vs LG G3 Stylus

 Display and Design

LG has kept the same screen size in both models, 5.5 inches, but vary the resolution, and do so significantly. The LG G3 Stylus panel has a qHD resolution, which results in a distribution of 960 x 540 pixels and a density of 200 dots per inch. careful because not confuse with QHD resolution LG G3 , which is that in this case we are talking about 2,560 x 1,440 pixels that spread across the panel, resulting in a density of 534 dots per inch , well over double, almost triple made. We also know that the screen of LG G3 is covered with a sheet of glass Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has True HD-IPS technology.

The design is one aspect in which both models are more even, is that LG wanted to keep the same line in its growing range LG G3. Both have a large size, but the LG G3 Stylus is a bit bigger and thicker, so it also weighs more. They are made in plastic and back cover is removable, but has been given a metallic finish that gives quite the trick and even seems to be made of aluminum. The sides are completely clear and the buttons are on the back, just below the camera. Also available in matching colors, which are white, black and gold. Difference at this point comes with the stylus that integrates LG G3 Stylus and allows us to draw or take notes freehand. We emphasize that it is a capacitive stylus with rubber tip, not active as the other leading teams like the Galaxy Note.

 Camera and Multimedia

Both models feature a rear sensor thirteen megapixels, but there are important differences. The LG G3 features a two-tone flash and laser focus, which is faster and more accurate with this system. It also comes with an optical stabilizer, the sensor measures 3.1 inches, recorded as 4K video at 30fps and front camera of 2.1 megapixels carries a front light for selfies. In the case of LG G3 Stylus did not find the Laser focus and stabilizer, but does have some features like Touch & Shoot for pictures by touching the screen, Gesture Shot for triggering the camera selfies gesture and its secondary camera has 1.3 megapixels, but also carries the front light. The LG G3 Stylus recording in FullHD, has LED flash and other basic features like geo-tagging mode or HDR.

Both are capable of playing a good variety of formats of audio, video and images and have the usual multimedia functions. The LG G3 is noted somewhat with stereo sound recording and radio tuner integrated.

 Power, memory and operating system

The LG G3 has a processor Snapdragon quad core 801, which in this case operates at 2.5 GHz frequency. The terminal has 2Gb memory RAM, but the version of 32 Gb ups the ante to 3Gb of RAM, and is supported by a graphics chip Adreno 330. Meanwhile the LG G3 Stylus carries a chip quad-core 1 3GHz, but has not specified what model it is. What we do know is that it has only 1 GB of RAM, so it could be a Snapdragon 400.

The LG G3 is available in two versions 16 or 32 Gb, while the LG G3 Stylus only will be released in an edition of 8 GB. Both are compatible with memory cards MicroSD memory extension.

How could it be otherwise, both the LG G3 as the LG G3 Stylus come standard with the latest Android ie Android 4.4 KitKat. Logically also share the same interface from LG and also carry some functions such as Smart Keyboard, the release system Knock Code or Quick Memo. Ensures that the LG G3 Stylus includes a package of entertainment and productivity applications to take full advantage of the stylus, but not go into more detail.

 Connectivity and autonomy

The media profile LG G3 Stylus remains far behind compared to the LG G3, is that the new model of Korean mobile only connects to the Internet via 3G mobile networks. Meanwhile the LG G3 is compatible with the standard LTE, which gives access to networks 4G , which can reach peak discharges of 150 Mbps . Both have port WiFi (the LG G3 is dual-band), Bluetooth 4.0 , ability to create a WiFi area, antenna GPS Glonass, MicroUSB 2.0 and minijack headphone. The LG G3 has more functions as the system SlimPort in its MicroUSB port infrared, DLNA chip and NFC.

Both models have a battery of 3,000 milliamps, but only facilitated data autonomy LG G3, which will be on stand 553 hours and 21 hours in use. Given that the LG G3 Stylus is consuming less battery components such as the screen, can expect an even more extensive range.

 Conclusions

All that remains of the new LG Stylus G3 are the design and unique features that LG provides in its interface. Otherwise this is a team p performance much tighter, as the p scree with QHD resolution, the processor RAM 1 GB, the lack of 4G connection and a camera that, although complete, not up to the flagship brand. They have also kept the screen size and battery, now is see if the price difference is as wide as their technical differences.
