In the near future we will have one Chinese phone – Elephone P1000, which will have a high performance and low price. The specifications of the new model stand out while clearly of the smartphones from the Elephone ever built. Interestingly, should also be the CyanogenMod preinstalled as the operating system, which should ensure high performance and clean surface.
The Elephone P1000 is therefore not as previously expected with a MediaTek processor, but with an Snapdragon 801 by Qualcomm. In combination with the 3 GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat that promises an extremely high performance. The clock should be at the maximum 2.5 GHz per core and it is of course also an Adreno 330 with it. The Quad-HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels is with 5.58 inch not too big to fail and would provide a high sharpness. The illustration on the following pictures looks pretty good in any case. What make the panel comes with such a size is not known. Perhaps it was also just measured and there are, in effect, 5.5 inch, as the LG G3 is the case. The internal memory is 32 GB respectively.
Instead of relying on your own ROM with customized surface, the Elephone P1000 is a CyanogenMod version will be delivered on the basis of Android 4.4 KitKat. This would make it the second real CyanogenMod smartphone after basically OnePlus One. Technically, this would even surpass the Quad-HD display, while still about the battery, the camera and other equipment missing. The price is likely to be very competitive in all cases and Elephone smartphones will also gladly China imported. How expensive smartphone but is, is not currently known and can also be difficult to estimate, since the manufacturer otherwise not actually build such high-end models.
The design of the Elephone P1000 looks pretty plain, but the back has reminded with the surface of the black OnePlus One. In terms of size with an iPhone the smartphone falls naturally from considerably more massive. We are always looking forward to the details. The presentation will take place in October.
