With the Lenovo IdeaTab S8 an unknown tablet has been shown in some pictures few days ago and a really nice design revealed. Unfortunately, so far lacked the technical data and other details. Now, the specifications are yet emerged even before the official presentation at the upcoming IFA 2014 and a promise not only beautiful, but also very powerful Android tablet.
After several manufacturers of Android tablets have changed at Computex 2014 with new models to processors from Intel, Lenovo follows with another producer. So far the company has the Intel Bay Trail SoCs used only for full-fledged Windows 8.1 tablets and set on Android for example on MediaTek. Apparently the terms of Intel are now so good that Lenovo has become weak. This is for us but not a disadvantage, because the Intel processors have an enormous amount of power and will hopefully be kept up to date with new drivers, which in turn guarantees future updates.
The Lenovo IdeaTab S8 is therefore an 8-inch display equipped with a resolution but so far we do not know. The Bay Trail Z3745 Intel quad-core processor operates at up to 1.86 GHz per core and is of 2 GB RAM support. This would clearly come loose with both a HD and Full HD resolution. Of course we would be a model with Full HD or even more choice. There are 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and LTE. Whether emerged on the pictures front speakers might serve as an earpiece and microphone so you can also make calls directly, is not currently known. But would not be unthinkable, after Asus least one FonePad 8 presented with similar equipment.
On the back of the Lenovo IdeaTab S8 is an 8-MP camera installed, which is equipped with f2.2 aperture. This should even be possible to take good photos. The camera is also supported by an LED flash. The operating system is available directly Android 4.4 KitKat and a presumably more adapted surface.
Although currently is not known exactly when the Lenovo IdeaTab S8 is presented, but we are very confident that Lenovo will show at IFA 2014 a number of new Android and Windows 8.1 tablets and convertibles. We’ll look at this in any case. Finally, the products have really convinced.
