WhatSim SIM is the first specifically designed for users of WhatsApp and that allows them to connect with the service anywhere in the world and without any limit. Connects to over 400 operators in 150 countries and, if you change position, it automatically connects to the network that offers the best performance. WhatSim is an Italian idea, and sees at its base the creator of i’m Watch, Manuel Zanella.
Last year the German operator E-Plus had launched something very similar but limited within the borders of Germany. And it is on this latter aspect that has aimed to innovate Zanella, with WhatSim that was born as the first international SIM WhatsApp: “In a world of more and more people traveling, the need to stay in touches with others in a simple fast and has become a fundamental requirement, “said founder and CEO of Zeromobile.
The WhatSim costs 10 € and allows you to chat for free on the service in the countries qualified for a year. Exceeded twelve months will be required an additional payment of 10 €, but only when needed: the SIM has not in fact fixed costs, fees and never expires. Within the € 10 is only allowed to send text messages and photos will need to purchase a package of credits with a minimum charge of € 5. This entitles you to 500 credits, with which you can share 50 photos or 10 video. The sharing of location and contacts is rather unlimited.
WhatSim returns, also, the cost of the annual fee of WhatsApp and reimburse the credit of the SIM. Zanella hopes the introduction of voice calls on the messaging client, a factor that might enable her to create a more complete and interesting. The SIM is already available for purchase online at the official website, with deliveries scheduled worldwide in local costs. WhatSim will be distributed through a network of local distributors in more than 100 countries.
As we wrote before, Zanella is known for being the creator of i’m Watch, one of the first smartwatch ever that unfortunately for many reasons failed to establish itself in a nascent market and still a bit ‘hesitant. WhatSim born with perfect conditions and a brilliant idea at its base, just as the clock smart Italian, and we hope that in a few months will not be hearing about how “our” idea yet another failure.
