Dell Venue 10 Pro ready to launch hybrid 16:10

Dell Venue 10 Pro ready to launch hybrid 16:10

Dell is ready to launch a new tablet PC hybrid semi-professional: the Dell Venue 10 Pro 5000, aesthetically very similar to the Dell Venue 11 Pro 5000 but more compact and most likely with active digitizer Wacom Active ES.

At SMAU 2014 Milan Livio Pisciotta, Client Marketing Manager Dell Italy, had announced that Dell was considering the creation of a new hybrid with Wacom Tablet PC to meet the demands of some customers remained partially unsatisfied by Venue 11 Pro, being based on a screen of 10.8 inches, turns out to be a bit ‘bigger than average and that using a digitizer Synaptics has not been received with great favor by the fanatics of the pen.

Three months after the SMAU Tablet PC in question seems finally ready to launch: the Dell website USA is indeed appeared to the user manual of the new Dell Venue 10 Pro 5000, a hybrid Tablet PC based on Intel Atom processor that is in many ways a return at Latitude 10.

Key features of the new Tablet PC are the 10.1-inch screen in 16:10 format, which will be available in the resolutions of 1280 × 800 or 1920 × 1200, and a wide connectivity that sees the presence of a USB 2.0 full-size and a video output microHDMI – but also internal WWAN modules.

The screen will be joined some kind of digitizer which provides a new pen, different from the existing pens Dell Active Stylus and Venue Active Stylus with Synaptics technology; it is, however, more and pens battery-AAAA: taking account of the revelations had to SMAU is fair to assume that this may be new pen technology Wacom Active ES, already exploited by Toshiba at least some of the Encore 2 Write.
